Hawaii Board of Education Election on Sat. in Kona

I don’t mean to tell you how to vote on Saturday for our Big Island representative on the Board of Education, but I spent almost 3 hours on Monday searching for info on the 4 candidates running for this office, and it’s really hard to find information, so I want to share what I found.</

Kona Kai Ea Surfrider Chapter Inaugurates!

The Kona Kai Ea chapter of the Surfrider Foundation had its inaugural meeting last thursday night. It was well attended and the excitement in room was amazing. We heard about the amazingly good work of Surfrider Maui from Jan Roberson and about the threats and opportunities to Keep it Blue from Rick. The members of the Executive Committee all took part to make the event a Big Wave.
